ALERGY SYMPTOMS

Alergies are rather common wherein both inherent as well as ecological features play the significant roles. It is widely defined as the reaction of the body to certain irksome materials and the term Alergy clearly means strange or altered reaction. This disorder refers to the conditions when the body is overexcited or over receptive to various substances so that the tissues react in the strange manner. Most of such strange reactions are expressed in the skin and mucus membranes but they are affected by alterations through out the body.

Food allergy symptoms: There are certain specific symptoms that show food allergies, like: scratchy throat, anaphylaxis, abdominal pain, diarrhoea, nausea, vomiting, stomach cramps, itching of mouth-throat-eyes-skin, hives, swelling or eyelids-face-tongue, fainting, nasal congestion, runny nose, shortness of breath, wheezing and difficulty in swallowing.

Wheat alergy symptoms: The most usual symptoms include: hives, eczema, angioedema, abdominal cramps, nausea, vomiting, oral allergy syndromes, asthma or allergic rhinitis.

Mold alergy symptoms: The most common symptoms of the Alergies caused due to molds are: sneezing, runny nose, blocked nose, coughing, postnasal drip, itching eyes-nose & throat, dark circles under the eyes, nose rubbing, continual upward nose rubbing, watering eyes, conjunctivitis, red-rimmed eyes, swollen eyes and crushing of eyelids.

While diagnosing allergies, the history of symptoms is very important especially when the symptoms alter according to the time of the day, season, exposure to pets and other potential allergens and diet changes. Severe reactions have often been noticed abruptly after exposures like eating nuts or getting stung.
