Every body can not just enjoy eating the strawberries during the
summers as many of us experience the allergic reactions like itching
or swelling in our mouths and throats. As recognized by the
biochemists at Lund University, there is an allergen amongst
thousands of proteins in the strawberries.
The necessary studies have already been conducted for finding
strawberries none or little allergen proteins and until now the
white or colorless strawberry has been found which has indeed no
allergens. The allergen has been recognized using blood sera from
patients who experienced unpleasant reactions to strawberry.
The preliminary alergy against birch pollen could induce the
secondary allergic reactions against strawberries, fruits and some
other vegetables, but it never implies that all the persons would
react against the strawberries.
