Mold is considered as the hairy growth on the humid natural
substance by different kinds of fungus whereas the mold growing on
any fabric is called the mildew. The quantum of mold portions and
spores required of causing health related problems defers from
person to person.
Apart from inhaling the person may come into contacts with the
mold through skin or by eating mold containing foods.
Toxic molds may develop some toxic chemicals like mycotoxin which
may harm the health. Molds are said to aggravate allergic reactions
and asthma typically in the sensitized persons. The most usual
reactions of mold include: flu-like symptoms and asthma, but the
persons having chronic lung or immune related problems may pose more
prone to serious risk like fever, lung infections and even pneumonia
like ailments.
