Due to the Fel D1, the cat glycoprotein discharged from the
cat’s sebaceous glands, the cat alergy in the human-being is usually
caused. Fel d1 is generally found in the skin and the saliva of the
cats. Any alergic reaction is basically considered as the histamine
reaction and is normally portrayed by coughing, wheezing, tightness
in the chest, itching, rashes, watering eyes, sneezing and such
other symptoms.
Other symptoms are said to include: red – itchy – watery eyes,
nasal congestion, itchy nose, sneezing, difficulty in breathing,
chronic sore throat or scratchy throat condition, coughing, wheezing
or itchy skin all over the body.
By keeping away from your pets and cats may easily lessen your
risk to cat alergy, but if it’s not possible, then wash your hands
thoroughly every time you touch the cats before touching your eyes
or other sensitive areas of the body.
