Banana is also known as Musa acuminate or Musa balbisiana.
It is believed that banana can also cause alergy. The banana alergy
may exhibit a couple of different forms like: one accompanied by to
tree pollen, such as birch and other kind of allergy which may be
linked with latex alergy.
The people having the birch-pollen allergy may generate symptoms
either instantly or even within just an hour of eating fresh banana
or any banana containing foods.
Such symptoms may often show local reactions in the mouth as well
as throat with itching and inflammation usually known as oral alergy
syndrome-OAS. Some of the drugs and some cosmetic products also
contain banana as flavoring element. The symptom includes simplified
urticaria, abdominal pains, vomiting and often life threatening
symptoms.
