ASTHMA ALERGIES

Asthma is proven to be the chronic inflammatory ailment related to the air passages, distinguished by coughing, wheezing, tightness of chest and difficulties in breathing. Basically asthma has been categorized in five different clusters based on its severity, such as: exercise-induced asthma or exercise-induced bronchospasm, milder sporadic asthma, mild unrelenting asthma, moderate unrelenting asthma and lastly the acute unrelenting asthma.

Asthma & Alergy: The allergy is considered as the overreaction by the body’s immune process to the generally harmless material, or allergen that hardly bothers most of the people. Allergies are amongst the major causes of illness and disabilities in the United States of America, effecting nearly 50 million Americans, as revealed by the National Institute of Alergy and Infectious Diseases.

This ailment of asthma is basically an obstruction of the air passage and inflammation that is somewhat reversible with medication. It is one of the most common forms of asthma affecting more than 50% of the 20 million asthma patients. Most of the symptoms of allergic and non-allergic asthma are identical like: coughing, wheezing, shortness of breathing or rapid breathing and tightness in chest. Yet, the allergic asthma is activated by inhaled allergens like dust-mites, pet dander, pollens or molds.

Cold Allergy: Though Colds and Alergy show many similar symptoms like clear but runny nose, watery eyes, nasal congestion, dry coughing, and sneezing, but the typical allergy symptoms that are not really noticed in common cold, may include itchy eyes, nose and itchy ears and mouth, often with high body temperatures.
