Aspirin could be described as acetyl salicylic acid or ASA and is
reported that it may develop certain alergy type reactions
especially in the person who has such uncommon sympathy. The
particular type of reaction by the aspirin called idiosyncratic
reaction which may be dangerous and even lead to life threatening in
some typical cases. The people suffering from the moderate to acute
asthma disorders may be more prone to aspirin allergic reactions.
The wider types of allergic reactions usually caused by aspirin
are: skin reactions including some symptoms – itching, rashes, hives
or swelling of extremities or mouth; respiratory or ocular – severe
or sudden nasal congestion, itchy, watery and swollen eyes, cough,
difficulty in breathing, wheezing; chronic nasal polyps, sinusitis,
and worsening of chronic asthma condition. Even in some rare cases,
the cardiovascular collapses.
